6 March is Independence Day in Ghana. Next year, it will be 60 years ago that Ghana re-gained her independence under the leadership of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Based on one of his quotes below, I started questioning….. What might Dr. Kwame Nkrumah have said in present time/today ? The answer that came into my mind:
“Don’t wait until the chance is given to you to prove the world that you are somebody.
Be somebody! Stand up and take the chance to create the world you want to live in”.
It was a great combination with a meeting that I had a few days before 6 March. Based on that, I shared the following:
Young people in Ghana, in Africa….
It is time to wake up and grow in the belief that everything that you need to create your own lives, is available inside of you and waiting for you to release it.
A few days ago, a 19 year old, talented woman from Ghana, named Ruth, shared her vision with me.
Her vision is one of the reasons she joins the Entrepreneurship Incubator at Hopin Academy, Tamale, N-Ghana. An independent program, designed and organised by independent entrepreneurs in Ghana. I am one of them.
Her vision is the same as I imagined for Africa and its people, when I was 19. Despite many life challenges, my inner voice and this vision, were always stronger than anything else. I kept making choices in that direction. And gradually, I became a 100% reflection of my vision.
“NGO’s (charity organisations) come to give things and knowledge to the needy. The needy have to sit and wait until the next NGO comes in. It is better if I can be a role model and the one supporting them to take care of themselves”.
I woke up and made a choice to create my own life. This young woman woke up and made a choice to create her own life.
What about you? .
Who am I?
I am one of the people in the world, who are blessed with a talent to see and sense beyond what is visible. To sense who you truly are and what your full potential in life is.
I guide you from wherever you are to wherever you want to be. I assist you in achieving what you desire. For yourself, your family, your communities, your society. And in the end, for the world we all live in.
Wherever you are in Ghana, Africa or the world, I wish I will meet YOU one day, because you made the choice that you want to lift yourself up.
